Re: The Notebook v4.0

I doubt he would come to Wisconsin, but possibly Chicago. Nick really did a good job in putting this show together and it's probably turning out to be bigger than he thought.

Re: Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets

I guess the few shows that they performed were so well received that they're playing additional shows in Europe in September and possibly adding shows in the States as well. They seemed to have found a niche in playing the early material freeform style not worrying too much about playing note for no...

Re: Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets

They could easily do a 2 hour show with SOS & Interstellar Overdrive in the set. Why not bring out the old slides while they're at it? Nick may actually get a vocal as well with Corp Clegg.

Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets

This came out of nowhere ( I think) as I don't recall ever hearing any talk of this. Sounds like Nick will be playing a few shows featuring the first 2 records. Guy Pratt is involved along with a few others. Cool idea as far as I'm concerned................

No kidding. Well, had he gotten the gas chamber as he was originally sentenced many of my musical heroes would've outlived him.

Re: New KQED Footage....

I'm still waiting for the lost 1977 footage to resurface. Rumor has it that the final rehearsal show for the "In the Flesh" tour was video taped. I have first hand knowledge of this because I heard an interview way back in 1979-80 on a show called the King Biscuit Flower Hour. I don't remember who ...

Re: Davids. New album

Its good but I find myself listening to On an Island much more often. "In Any Tongue", "Faces of Stone", and "Dancing Right In Front Of Me" are really good songs both musically and lyrically but the others fall short for me. I admittedly don't care for Polly's lyrics for the most part and I can't qu...

I just read an interview with Gavin Elder (Pompeii movie director) and the amount of time and resources that went into the filming and production is unreal.
