Re: Status of PinkFloydOnline.com website

PFOnline (the webmaster) continues to be too busy with personal matters to tend to the website, BUT he did give me the access needed to upgrade the forum!!! :D I performed the upgrade today and posted an update here.

Re: Status of PinkFloydOnline.com website

Great news -- PinkFloydOnline.com is back online as of today! I finally heard back from PFOnline (the webmaster) and he is doing fine, but has just been too busy with other obligations to notice that the site had gone down, nor had he received any notifications from the host etc that there were any ...

Re: Status of PinkFloydOnline.com website

I'm pretty sure no one is upset over this site, especially to the point of giving up on PFO with ~15 years of work invested in it, so don't worry about that. I'm just glad this forum was put together before PFO went offline. The PFO community will go on one way or another. :) Anyway, I haven't given...

Re: Spare Bricks

Well it just occurred to me to check Wayback Machine, so here you go: https://web.archive.org/web/19991013115 ... index.html It's not complete but it's something.

Re: Spare Bricks

My memory is fuzzy but I don't think so. Rusty Wire as I recall was more of a periodic email newsletter. I really don't remember what was on the site itself though.

Re: Status of PinkFloydOnline.com website

Yeah, that's exactly what we are fearing, but hoping is not the case. There have been times before where he had personal stuff going on that forced him to put the site on the back burner for awhile, but we were always able to reach him by email if it was important enough and he usually gave us a hea...

Re: Status of PinkFloydOnline.com website

While the PFO webmaster remains out of touch and unreachable, I have learned some new information. I discovered that the website is actually still intact, but due to some changes with the web host, the domain name now points to outdated servers, thus the site fails to load. From what I can tell, it ...

Re: Spare Bricks

Nice blast from the past! I remember when Spare Bricks first went online. I was poking around the website and came across this: http://sparebricks.fika.org/sbzine32/ednote.html We did not originally intend for this to be our last issue. But Pink Floyd is essentially defunct, and it is hard to stir u...

Status of PinkFloydOnline.com website

Hello PFO members, As many of you may have noticed by now, it appears that PinkFloydOnline.com has gone offline as of a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, we (the PFO forum staff) have no information about what is going on at this time. We can only guess that perhaps the website hosting bill was not paid...

PFO is looking for new moderators

Hi everyone! I wasn't sure where the best place to post this would be, or if you would even welcome this type of post. If not, I won't be heartbroken if you want to delete it or move it elsewhere. ;) PFO Forum Staff are now taking nominations for new forum moderators, if anyone here is interested: h...
