It never ceases to amaze me how there just continues to be lost Pink Floyd footage coming to light on a regular basis. Decades later, at that. If only someone out there was hoarding a video recording of the band from the mid-1970s with all of them in view and in focus. That would be a dream come true!

I'm still waiting for the lost 1977 footage to resurface. Rumor has it that the final rehearsal show for the "In the Flesh" tour was video taped. I have first hand knowledge of this because I heard an interview way back in 1979-80 on a show called the King Biscuit Flower Hour. I don't remember who the interview was with but it had to do with The Wall record and it was mentioned that Pink Floyd used to tape their rehearsals in order to work out any bugs in the live show before it started. I have spent 15 years trying to confirm this but haven't been able to.

I could drive to Gilmour's house and ask him...

Well, he lives on a farm in Sussex, and near Hove and Brighton - can't be that hard to find. But I don't fancy a restraining order!
