Also, are you sure you're not getting that backwards?

Trying to salvage this and bring it back on topic...

1. Animals
2. Atom Heart Mother
3. Dark Side Of The Moon
4. Meddle
5. The Final Cut
6. Wish You Were Here*
7. A Saucerful Of Secrets
8. Piper At The Gates Of Dawn
9. Obscured By Clouds
10. The Endless River**
11. The Division Bell
12. A Momentary Lapse Of Reason
13. Ummagumma
14. More
15. The Wall

* This one is an anomaly because even though I'll defend this album as being perfect, I am so sick of it and haven't played it in months. If there was a way to not include this one, I wouldn't,

** I like this a lot more than this list would indicate, but just not as much as all the ones above it.

I'm actually going to to a second list, not for how good I think the albums are, but for how easy it is for me to put them on and enjoy them at any given time:

1. A Saucerful Of Secrets
2. Atom Heart Mother
3. The Endless River
4. Obscured By Clouds
5. Animals
6. Piper At The Gates Of Dawn
7. Meddle
8. Dark Side Of The Moon
9. The Final Cut
10. A Momentary Lapse Of Reason
11. The Division Bell
12. Ummagumma
13. More
14. Wish You Were Here
15. The Wall

What part of it do you disagree with? These are based on the averages of each members' ranks. I can post the averages alongside the albums if you want me to.

Everyone except the Silver Lining has ranked The Endless River, so this list is about as complete as it's going to get. Once he gets around to it (probably never  ), the list will be done until we start getting some more members.

I've got three of the community top fives in my top five. And then Atom Heart Mother is way down near the bottom of the list.

I think I'm willing to rank The Final Cut as #14 on my list and have More slide down to last place. Because the former isn't a bad record, I just dislike it. The latter is a bad record.

What album with "A Spanish Piece" and "Quicksilver" could possibly be bad?

Hey You still guarantees The Wall as #15 for me but I've forgotten that the first disc is actually really, really good. I put on the first ten tracks a few weeks back and was shocked at how fresh it still sounds. However I still really really hate disc 2.

To remake my list... even though I've only listened to three albums in the past six months or so... I'm going to change my mind later but anyway... dot dot dot...

1. Animals
2. Atom Heart Mother
3. The Final Cut
4. Meddle
5. Dark Side Of The Moon
6. A Saucerful Of Secrets
7. Obscured By Clouds
8. The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn
9. Wish You Were Here*
10. The Endless River
11. Ummagumma
12. The Division Bell
13. A Momentary Lapse Of Reason
14. More
15. The Wall

If I can rate the discs individually, Ummagumma disc 1 would be above TFC, and The Wall disc 1 would probably be above The Endless River. Ummagumma disc 2 would be one above the bottom spot, and, well, you know what the bottom spot is.

Wish You Were Here is lower than I want it to be, and it pains me to put it there but I seriously can't bring myself to put it any higher. A lot of the time I'd rather listen to More or AMLOR than Wish because I'm still so burnt out on it. Even though I think it's a flawless album I never want to listen to it - probably beacuse I played it 4 or 5 times a day for about three months straight a while back.

The best stuff is from 73 to 83, everything before that was a bit too overblown and everything after was a bit dull

If you find the time, I'm curious as to how you would rank their albums.

I have to say, all the albums that you didn't list here were albums that really had to grow on me as well. Except for A Momentary Lapse of Reason -- that's one album I've liked since the day I've heard it.

I've been listening to The Wall a lot recently and found that it's unfair to rank both discs together when they are of such vastly different qualities.

1. Wish You Were Here
2. The Endless River
3. Atom Heart Mother
4. The Wall (Disc 1)
5. Animals
6. The Dark Side of the Moon
7. A Saucerful of Secrets
8. Obscured by Clouds
9. The Division Bell
10. Meddle
11. The Wall (Disc 2)
12. The Piper at the Gates of Dawn
13. Ummagumma
14. A Momentary Lapse of Reason
15. Soundtrack from the Film More

And congrats Gunner, you seem to be the person who holds The Final Cut in the highest regard.
