Down to Earth (Outtakes Collection)

Postby Alec Taylor » Wed Aug 31, 2016 11:34 pm

I rounded up seven decent bootleg recordings from the 1993 sessions and put them all under one roof. So far they exist as a YouTube playlist, but if the copyright bastards come along and screw it up, I'll likely upload them somewhere else for download. I've named the collection Down to Earth (after one of The Division Bell's working titles), and the album cover is some 'artsy' makeover of a studio shot of the sessions. I made the text look like it did on A Saucerful of Secrets just because I could.

Pink Floyd - Down to Earth
1. Untitled #1 (currently still unreleased)
2. Evrika (later "Wearing the Inside Out")
3. Anisina
4. Allons-y
5. Untitled #2 (later "TBS14" and "What Do You Want From Me?")
6. Untitled #3 (later "Untitled")
7. High Hopes

Amazingly, only one of these seven tracks got slammed for copyright, but I found another link to the same track. I have it as "Untitled #2", they have it as "Untitled #4", but it's the early demo for "TBS14" and "What Do You Want From Me?".

I'm not quite sure what that is, but I'd love to learn more.

Someone combined The Endless River with The Division Bell and it's great.

I've given this project a few listens, and find that I must make a thread to discuss it.
