This came out of nowhere ( I think) as I don't recall ever hearing any talk of this. Sounds like Nick will be playing a few shows featuring the first 2 records. Guy Pratt is involved along with a few others. Cool idea as far as I'm concerned................

Yeah. It seems to have come from nowhere, but Nick has been itching to get on-stage for twenty years now to play Pink Floyd gigs. This, coupled with his recent curating of the Early Years box has probably rekindled his love of the early albums. If his band plays anywhere near me I'll definitely go.

They could easily do a 2 hour show with SOS & Interstellar Overdrive in the set. Why not bring out the old slides while they're at it? Nick may actually get a vocal as well with Corp Clegg.

Haha! I doubt it though. I think we're more likely to see something that looks like a typical set list around 1970. It would be soooo cool to see.

I've got tickets to see him in Manchester in September! It's a bit odd that they're doing "Point Me at the Sky" and not "Careful With That Axe, Eugene".

I'm hoping that if Dave tours again Guy can say to him "look Dave, when we played these songs in with Nick the audiences loved them!" and maybe Dave will crack out something like "See Emily Play" or "Bike" for shits and giggles.

Too bad there was no "Remember a Day" or "Jugband Blues". Perfect chance to pay tribute to Rick and Syd.

Well they play plenty of Syd songs, why would "Jugband Blues" be any more of a tribute than "Bike", "Arnold Layne" or "See Emily Play"?

I guess the few shows that they performed were so well received that they're playing additional shows in Europe in September and possibly adding shows in the States as well. They seemed to have found a niche in playing the early material freeform style not worrying too much about playing note for note. Its basically Piper to Meddle and that it. Its cool and I would definitely go see them if ever in my area.

I found a good playlist on YouTube with a few tracks on it. They sound pretty good, and if they swung by Kansas City I'd definitely swipe myself some tickets.

My tickets arrived today and the tour kicks off in two days! They've had since May to work on things so I wouldn't be surprised if there are some set list changes - I'd love to see Eugene added to the set.

Since Nick's Dish of Mysteries probably isn't going to be anywhere near Kansas City any time soon, I'm hoping there's a good DVD from this tour. I normally don't go for things, but I was so pleasantly surprised by what I've seen so far that I need some more in my life. Can't get enough of that post-Piper, pre-Dark Side Floyd.

The videos I've seen look so cool. The band, especially Guy, seem to be having a right laugh on stage as they perform stuff like "Bike". It will be nice to see the less serious side to Floyd after such politics-driven Roger Waters show. I hope it gets filmed too - if the European tour is a success he may do a USA/Canada tour - who knows? I hope David goes to see a show and thinks, "hmm... Nick's still got it" and we get a surprise Floyd reunion next year before they all retire  I mean, Phil Collins has been fanning the Genesis reunion flames in the last few weeks, so why not?

The tour kicked off in Sweden last night - and there are videos! Nick has also added "Vegetable Man", "If" and "Atom Heart Mother" to his set. Apparently though, "If" and "AHM" are a medley with only an excerpt of AHM played. Still no Eugene....

Here's a video of AHM and despite what people are putting on Setlist.fm, Nick is actually playing all of "A Saucerful of Secrets", not just the "Celestial Voices" section, as can be seen in this video

"A Saucerful of Secrets" was always one of his drumming showcases, especially at Pompeii. This whole ordeal is turning out to be a splendid surprise.
