The Wall CD

I picked this up Friday. It's pretty good with some slight changes to some of the songs. My wife was remarking how pretentious the cover is with Roger kind of staring down over everyone. I wish he had brought in Doyle Bramhall for this tour though. I liked his vocals during the In The Flesh tour.

Oh.

I didn't even know that there was a reasonably-priced Wall-related project coming out.

This the live album of Roger's?

If so, how does it compare to other live albums of the Wall, considering there are like 200?

Some of the songs have different arrangements. Nothing groundbreaking, but you can tell. I think it's Robbie Wycoff who does the David Gilmour vocals who I'm not a fan of. I couldn't get into his voice.

No one will do them quite like David, but hey ho, we must take what we're given*.
