Favorite Band By Decade

Here's an interesting one I was thinking of earlier.

What is your favorite band per the stuff they put out in said decade? (I'm putting the runner[s] up in parentheses, you can but don't have to)

I'm going to start in the 60's because that that's where my music fluency truly starts:

60's -- The Beatles; (runner up; Rolling Stones)
70's -- Pink Floyd; (runner up: Yes/Led Zeppelin)
80's -- Genesis (runner up: Joe Satriani)
90's -- Oasis (runner up: Van Halen)
2000's -- Linkin Park (runners up: Death Cab for Cutie/Radiohead)
2010 -- [too soon to tell but ] Death Cab for Cutie (runner up Radiohead)

Nice idea.

60's -- The Beatles
70's -- Pink Floyd
80's -- Queen
90's -- Radiohead (just because The Bends and Ok Computer were released in the 90's)
00's -- Sigur Rós
10's -- Too many to choose, but I'll go with Radiohead. Runners up: alt-J, Tame Impala, Elbow, Ólafur Arnalds, Crippled Black Phoenix

This thread is making me realize yet again that we live in an amazing decade for music.

I'd actually much rather swap out my 2010s pick of All India Radio for the band Moon Safari. Holy shit are they a good band.
