Same. We literally went from tornadoes to snow in like a week, this is bullshit. I blame climate change, thanks Obama.

This is what we get after about five hours of snow.

My town is the armpit where all the lake effect snow ends up getting dumped. Something about the way the winds blow, but we get an average of 2-3 inches per hour. I cannot wait to move! It's every bit as bad as hell, but opposite at the same time.

For the last week in NW Missouri and SW Iowa the windchill at night has dropped below -35 degrees Fahrenheit pretty regularly. I work in old derelict brick buildings with shit insulation and single pane glass windows. We were getting a solid inch of ice on the inside of our windows from how cold it was. Yesterday when it was about 20 degrees out, it actually felt warm just because it was still 50 degrees warmer than the past week.

Your boy SunShade here is just working himself into the ground basically. Hoping to get moved to Kansas City soon and never have to work 60 hours a week overnight again.

It's true, there's going to be a Mrs. Delusions here by October 2019. Really hoping this is the time we escape this wretched town and finally make a name for ourselves.

As someone moving from the rural world to the urban world, I thought I'd share some fun fact comparisons. Let's compare my hometown of Rosendale, MO to the Kansas City Metro!

Surface Area: 0.29 sq. miles/0.75 sq. kilometers (RO) vs. 8,472 sq. miles/21,940 sq. kilometers (KC)
Population: 143 (RO) vs. 2,159,159 (KC)
Population Density: 480/sq. mile / 180/sq. kilometer (RO) vs. 260/sq. mile / 100.4/sq. kilometer (KC)

So now I live somewhere that is 29,214 times larger in area, with 15,099 times more people, that is somehow 1.8 times less dense than what I'm used to. Talk about culture shock!

That one cracked me up. Your new city's population is 20% of my entire country's. :D

I like Brussels during the summer months. It's nice to take only 30 minutes to drive to work instead of more than an hour.
